Remember My Heart
Remember, my heart, that besides the beasts of prey,
Who vision the fall of man,
There still are millions of hearts that love,
That struggle in the surging billows of blood;
Remember those who have joined the battle for man.
Remember, my heart, all those who stand
In the flames facing the foul foe―
All who have rushed forth to save those that may perish,
All whose heart has not remained silent in the dark;
Remember those who have joined battle for man.
Remember those who trudge in the scorching sands,
Who leave their traces in deep, heavy waters;
For the noble hearts that still are there,
Remembering them―let us pray for them.
They are the ones who have joined battle for man.
