Half moon in a lake blue sky
Reflecting clouds
Crows circling shadows
Over cut paths of September
Dry hay bales shade woven
Purplish blue on a broad flank hill
At the field's edge Queen Anne’s Lace
Butter-colored golden rods
Seed laden milkweeds
Waiting on the stalled breath
Of a breeze for their flight
Between oak trees a deer lightly steps
Crickets sing in the tall grass along a stone wall
A bluejay sings liquid notes
And I wait, listen, and listen again
Giving myself the patience to watch
An orange belted bumble bee
Settle on the curling ribbon of purple asters
At the pasture’s edge
I am unburdened by the day’s labor of my hands

Thomi just sent you some of her latest art work to celebrate what you both give to the rest of us!

Icertainly agree with her comment about your poetry and I say the same about your prose.

Is it tome for you to send us a couple of your favorite art works?
